How many winners are honored with the YCN Award annually?
As a general rule, one recipient is chosen as the Overall Young CISO of the year. In exceptional circumstances more than one person may be awarded the coveted price. We also have awards for other categories. Details is provided on the YCN award category section.
How can I be sure my nominations have been received?
All nominations must be submitted online. Once the nominations are closed, you will receive a response from the YCN Secretariat to confirm we have received the nomination.
What is the Evaluation Process like?
Our judging and evaluation process is a streamlined one. All award nominations are fully analyzed, evaluated and scored by our expert panel of judges.
Can I nominate myself?
Self-nominations are strongly discouraged.
If you are nominating a colleague or you intend nominating an industry influencer, we suggest such persons are notified before you submit your nominations
How do I obtain a nomination form?
Nomination can be made via Young CISO website or via special nomination referrals sent to designated bodies/institutions
When will the Award be presented
Recognizing Excellence in Cyber Security
The Young CISO Award covers works of excellence for 2021. Awards will be presented at the Annual Cyber Security Summit holding March 2022
